Momentum Children's Charity are thrilled to be first time exhibitors at Ideal Home Show Christmas and delighted to offer a beautiful range of brand-new, donated Christmas decorations—perfect for bringing festive cheer and elegance to your home this season!

Momentum has been standing by families for over 20 years, providing support to those facing the unimaginable. Each year in the UK, nearly 1,900 children are diagnosed with cancer—now the leading cause of death by disease for children aged 1-9. Additionally, around 86,625 children face life-challenging conditions. While over 84% of children with cancer survive five years or more, families still experience immense emotional and practical challenges.

In 2024/25, we supported over 2,500 individuals across 502 families, including 186 bereaved families. Our services are tailored to each family’s unique needs, from a listening ear to helping to provide counselling and creative therapies to peer support and respite breaks. One parent said, “Having a familiar face at every admission is incredibly supportive. The nurses may change daily, but our support worker is always there for us.”

For families facing the death of a child, our Echoes Bereavement Support Service provides comfort, a parent shared, “With Momentum, you can share memories, feelings, and experiences in a relaxed and open way.”

Without government funding, donations are vital. Together, we can ensure families never feel alone, offering support in hospital and home, for as long as we’re needed.
