A Magical Festive Extravaganza Ideal Home Show Christmas 2024!
The Ideal Home Show Christmas 2024 has officially wrapped up, and what a spectacular show it was! Festive fans joined us to kickstart their Christmas celebrations in style. From decorating and gardening to organising, fashion, and more, this year’s show was bursting with expert tips, creative ideas, and unforgettable experiences to make your Christmas truly magical.
The festivities began with a grand opening featuring live music, surprise guest appearances, and a daily visit from Santa himself! Whether it was little ones wide-eyed with wonder or adults soaking up the festive atmosphere, everyone joined in the holiday cheer. The Christmas Band Stage was a particular highlight, with choirs, soloists, and musical groups performing live throughout the show. Guests could toast to the season at our Champagne Bar, enjoying a glass of bubbly while soaking in the melodies.
One of the standout attractions was the Ideal Christmas Home, brought to life by our fabulous sponsors: Laura Ashley, Not On the High Street, Sofology, and Lights4Fun. Styled in collaboration with Good Homes, this beautifully curated space showcased the ultimate festive decor, offering inspiration for every corner of the home. It was a true escape into a world of Christmas magic, brimming with ideas to transform your living space into a winter wonderland.
Over at The Christmas Theatre, audiences were treated to a star-studded line-up of celebrity experts and professionals, including Roisin Quinn, David Domoney, John Torode, and Lisa Faulkner. From decorating hacks to gardening gems, each session was packed with practical advice and creative inspiration to make this Christmas one to remember.
Meanwhile, The Christmas Kitchen was the place to be for foodies. Visitors gathered to watch flamboyant pastry maestro, Cherish Finden, demonstrate how to create showstopping sweet centrepieces. Her creations left us all dreaming of sugar-dusted delights to grace our festive tables.
This year also saw a historic first for the show: the I Do Handmade Christmas Village. Shoppers were delighted to browse a rotating line-up of up to 20 small businesses each day, offering a treasure trove of unique handmade gifts. From luxurious hand-poured candles to intricate jewellery and beautiful stationery, every item was crafted with care by talented British artisans – the perfect way to support small businesses while ticking off your gift list.
As the festive fun comes to an end, we’re already looking ahead to next year. Make sure you join us for more magical moments, inspiring ideas, and unforgettable Christmas cheer at the Ideal Home Show Christmas 2025. See you there!
